This is a self-guided project for students to complete during homework time, or time allocated for using the computer suite at school.
It supports the knowledge and skills area of the history curriculum but is equally suitable as a citizenship project held in collaboration with the history department.
It encourages students to consider why animals are still used in war, how PDSA has grown to provide veterinary care for animals and to study one of the most significant individuals in animal welfare history - Maria Dickin CBE.
